I called the day before we wanted to spend a night. It’s the City Hall who makes the reservation. Stephanie answered and told me I could pick any of the sights when we got there. She took my payment over the phone with a credit card. When we got there the bathroom/shower was locked. I called her and told her this, and she said it was shut down. I told her we needed the bathroom and would like to take a shower. She said she would call the Mayor and get back to us. She didn’t. I called back 5 minutes before city hall closes and got their recording. The next morning I went into city hall and asked Nancy for my 35 dollars back because the bathrooms were locked. She said sorry but the bathrooms are closed to the public. I asked Nancy why didn’t Stephanie tell me that before she charged me full price, making me think I had a full service RV park. Again Nancy said the bathhouse is not open to the public. I told her that their web site indicates differently, that the RV park INCLUDES bathrooms and showers. She then asked for my phone number and said she would have the Mayor call me and I could work it out with him. I never heard from the mayor. Mind you, this town has a population of 705, I’m sure the mayor doesn’t have a lot on...

Stopped to spent the night in my RV. Of the three sites I checked none had power or water. Trash is everywhere in the campground. Bathrooms were locked. Some desperate souls appearing to have started using the outside of the bathroom to crap. Human feces, trash, no water, no power, trucks engine breaking all night. 100% do not recommend. Want a refund city of Lometa. Was the worst park I’ve seen. Was so thoroughly unimpressed with Lometa’s crappy park. Do better or not...

Went to Lometa Regional Park for the Fourth of July fireworks display and it is really an amazing show for a small town. Smaller crowds and a 30-minute fireworks show that is nonstop. A bit of congestion getting out of the park after the fireworks but an easy ride home afterward. Also beautiful scenery and Rolling Hills make it an excellent spot for a campsite on any other occasion and...
