Jumpin Jax Fun Center of Lancaster, SC — Attraction in Lancaster

Party went great, but we left a message that my husband had accidentally added extras to our order (a pizza and a bottle of water), bk he thought it was putting that we wanted those selections for our party (it came with pizza and water or juice, he thought he was putting in he wanted cheese pizza and waters, not an extra of each). When I realized this days before the party I called and the message said to leave a voicemail or text. At the party they tried to charge us for these still. Then, while the kids were eating their pizza, our helper told us they would do cake whenever we were ready. I said ok, and after we will quickly do gifts then let them loose to play. (We only had 5 small gifts to open) She tried to convince us that most people don’t open gifts and she has to hurry to get us out bk they had another party soon. I told her we were doing gifts. We paid for our party, we were doing our party for our time we booked. She said ok but seemed rushing. She kept getting on her cell phone, talking, while we all were in the party room, no clue what was up with that. We were told they’d give the gift bags out to the guests when they left so they didn’t have toys etc on the play floor…okay no problem, except they didn’t give them out. I caught the last 2 people as they left but none of the rest got them. They told us they’d get all our stuff together and load the car for us. Got home and found that they didn’t give us all the other gift bags, which my son was going to give to his friends Monday at school. (We spent like $25 in stuff for the bags) Called them and they said they don’t have the bags. Then they said no, we found them, but they’re empty. What?? They offered to give us bags of theirs that have a couple cheap toys and goldfish in them, or we could get points toward our next time there. We are moving in two weeks so that’s not helpful, and I’m not driving a hour round trip to get bags you probably have $2-3 invested in. We had themed toys and things in them. Very frustrated bk now I have to go spend MORE of my own money to replace them, since they lost our bags. Some of our guests also left early bk it felt like the AC was off. It was very uncomfortable and the kids were all sweating and red. Even the ones not running around. Completely opposite experience of what we had...

We just celebrated our daughter’s 7th birthday party at Jumpin Jax, and we could not be happier with how our entire experience was from start to finish!! If you’re here right now reading through reviews like I did and wondering “should I book my kids party here?” - YES, do it!

From start to finish - easiest birthday party planning process that I’ve ever experienced AND we received compliments from multiple guests parents who said “wow- this party was awesome and not the typical “chaos” you find at so many indoor kids play places” (haha). They literally took care of every single detail, and have so many options to add on customizing for your child’s special day. We didn’t have to lift a finger and worry about shopping for any sort of decor, plates, food, etc - everything in the party room looked adorable and colorful and we chose to just bring a cake and our own goody bags and it was PERFECT.

Christina was amazing and SO diligent with communication, I really appreciate how straight forward and easy the entire party planning process is. She was understanding and helpful with last minute party changes, and always there to answer every question I threw her way. Diamond was our sweet party host and did such a wonderful job; we are grateful for her kindness and how she helped make the party run so smoothly! She even lined the kids up as they went into the party room to eat and gave them each a squirt of hand sanitizer - yes please!!!!! AMAZING! It was the first birthday party we’ve had for our kids where we as parents could actually sit down and enjoy a slice of pizza because we didn’t have to worry about handing out food, making sure the order was in, etc.

Our birthday girl and her friends had the BEST time running around playing the entire time. I also want to mention how much I truly appreciate the care they put into the cleanliness of the facility. We had family/guests who were babies/toddlers, and the separate sweet little sections for them were perfect, safe, and fun.

We would absolutely recommend Jumpin Jax to anyone to take your kids on a fun day for playing, for parties, etc....

I want to preface this by saying we have spent many hours at Jumpin Jax, and up to this point we have been big fans. But after what happened 2 days ago, not sure we will return. My mother took my two kids to Jumpin Jax 2 days ago. My mom was enjoying time with my 10 month old son in the baby area when suddenly she noticed he was chewing on something. She had to fish in his mouth and was able to retrieve an EARRING. Thank God my mom noticed and was able to get it out promptly, as the alternative could have been much much worse and even fatal. My mom then took the earring to the owner and told her she just got this out of my son’s mouth and he found it in the baby area. The owner then looked at her daughter and said oh here’s your earring! My mom then reiterated that it was in the BABY AREA and it was in my son’s MOUTH. The owner’s response was “well that could have made for a bad day.” I am appalled by the owner’s lack of accountability and care for the children in her facility. I am so so thankful it worked out the way it did and my son did not get hurt, but that isn’t guaranteed to always happen. Her daughter is older than the allowed age for the baby area, so not sure how her earring ended up there. I am disgusted to think that someone’s earring was in my child’s mouth considering how much bacteria it holds, not to mention the damage it could have done to my baby. I am very surprised because I have always noticed the facility to be very clean, and I have seen the employees cleaning routinely, but they obviously missed this. Needless to say we will probably not return to Jumpin Jax, and this is a warning for other customers to please please check the ground and equipment for any harmful items because we cannot fully trust the owner to...
