Lancaster California Mayor R. Rex Parris proved his loyalty to the Red, White and Blue by honoring the freedoms our country was founded on this Fourth of July, at the Lancaster National Soccer Center, 2020. Banned by L.A City Mayor Eric Garcetti and told all citizens should stay at home and no one else could be inside their homes. And NO ILLEGAL FIREWORKS. Mayor Parris disagreed. Since the AV Fairgrounds were on lockdown, he found another venue, the Lancaster National Soccer Center. And what an event! The Lancaster National Soccer Center was packed along East Avenue L and 30th Street East with cars, trucks, SUV's and RV's, anxiously awaiting the fireworks and program. Thank you, Lancaster National Soccer Center, for being an amazing place for your amazing city, helping our amazing mayor celebrate the most amazing country we have the...

Super cold in winter, make sure you know what field your team plays because fields 19-30 are on the right and 1-18 on the left. Plenty of bathrooms stalls in smaller building structures throughout fields and main building, but could be more efficient to clean womens restrooms more frequently. Suggest to take plenty of blankets and winter gear, it hailed and rained during our 1:30 soccer game. We left by 2:30 ish-3pm by the 5pm there was snow in Lamcaster. Hot chocolate was great during cold weather. Fields were pretty well kept, but muddy near entry way of main building facing fields and plenty of room for teams warming up, plus younger kids playing behind parent cheering sections. Overall it was pretty cool to see the Joshua Trees so close by and all those...

The fields honestly are not in very good condition. The grass is really bumping and uneven. Considering that these fields are used for National Cup and State Cup they are a real disappointment. The lighting seems good. The weather is really awful (so cold) and windy. Like many parents I've traveled all around California and the western US states for club and DA level games. These fields really don't cut it. The only reason they must be used is because if the sheer number of fields...certainly not the quality of them. I would recommend that they speak with the folks in Casa Grande at Barca, or get artificial fields installed, or go down to the Oceanside So Cal Complex.l to gain perspective/education. Those fields are much...

While the soccer fields are plentiful, the staff who cares for the fields are lacking in general turf knowledge and care. Or, they don't care and are doing a mediocre to poor job of maintaining the two biggest fields. Many large areas where the grass is missing or dead or overtaken by weeds. Even different types of grass are obvious, which is hard to play on. The biggest field is in the worst shape - the second biggest field is in somewhat better shape but not by that much, and the third smallest field which is rarely used is in great shape. The biggest field has a LOT of dead trees. The people who use the fields leave TONS Of trash everywhere - shameful.

Poor excuse for a 'national' soccer center. Fields are poorly graded - bumps everywhere - and maintained. Grass is dead down the middle of the field and deep on the sidelines and in the corners. No amenities (gas, food, hotels) within miles. Tournament organizers were thoughtful enough to turn off the water fountains so that you had to buy bottled water from the snack shack. Out in the middle of nowhere but still charged $6 per day for parking. Miserable experience overall.
