Awesome trip to Cirque Of The Towers. Be prepared to drive a long way off the beaten path to get to the Big Sandy Trailhead. I did it in my Honda Accord and the road was fine. However, I got a bit lost trying to go through Kemmer Wyoming (from SLC) and ended up going back to I-80 and going through Rock Springs to get to Big Sandy Trailhead. I would recommend that route if you don’t lose more than 20 minutes. It gave me comfort to have a string of cars in front of me who were going the same place. We parked at the furthest parking area from the trailhead, which is near the turn off for the lodge. I clocked it at 0.4 miles from the trailhead. Plan to drop off/pick up and have a designated driver to park and collect the vehicle. The vault toilet I didn't use, but is nice to have there. The road to get here is also more rough than ever due to the wet winter. All that being said, this is the trailhead to many 5-star...
