What a great little addition to the city of Laredo! If you have about 20-30 minutes in your day, definitely stop by! This museum is great at providing you with information about how important the Rio Grande is for the community. It gives you the history and engineering used to have clean water for the city. It is definitely on the smaller side when it comes to its size, but you do really appreciate learning about something that's very meaningful to the city of Laredo. I wanted to visit this museum, but on the weekend, they are closed, so I had some time on a random weekday to visit it. They also have a small trail in the back that, at least right now, has a lot of butterflies! I would recommend definitely stopping by once to learn about the history and connection between Rio Grande and Laredo. FAMILY FRIENDLY

Terrific venue for meetings our school field trips. Meaningful exhibits showing the critical infrastructure of water, sewer, and Stormwater runoff. Helpful staff. Good location for presentations to small crowd with auditorium style seating and large presentation screen. Also available is smaller conference room with seating for around 20 with good audio/video capabilities.

Although it may be small, the Water Museum offers some modern and colorful infographics on Laredo's water treatment. There are interactive displays to keep the children occupied, and plenty of water facts and tidbits for older guests to read. It's free admission, so why not give it a visit and relax while you're visiting Laredo.

The Laredo Water Museum is an educational and informative must see place for everyone. It's a modern hands-on museum, giving valuable insights into the world of water, for instance the water consumption of households, the importance of the Rio Grande's ecosystem and a step-by-step explanation of how water is processed. One is asked to sign in upon entering, but strangely enough there was no museum staff member around while...

This place was so crazy. First of all, one of the glass things broke and these sharks bit several people; some guy left the establishment without an arm. And since the glass broke, a lot of the fishes and sharks dried out and shriveled up like a raisin. Next, I went into the bathroom and saw multiple fish in all of the toilets. Real ones. I didn't use the restroom because I thought they would die....
