Vistas Park is a great advance over the earlier Howard Hughes Corp bad designs of the 1990s, for instance, The Trails. The Vistas neighborhood even has sidewalks on both sides of the street in contrast to the inexplicable design choice of one sidewalk on one side of the street as in The Trails, The Crossing, or The Arbors. (See Lake Mead in Summerlin).
Vistas Park is devoted to athletics more than the old parks with several ball fields and tennis courts. In contrast, Trails Park has none of these amenities even though there is space.

This park is my new go to due to its versatility and location. Great options for picnics throughout the entire park, and it is pet friendly.
