I’m giving this 1 star- Not because Forebay Reservoir isn’t a uniquely beautiful spot to enjoy or even a great place to go camping/hiking/Fishing… But because there needs to be extra percussions taken when it comes to this specific reservoir, possibly signs indicating the dangers of getting into this body of water after a certain time frame-as they have water turbines that turn on each evening. PLEASE, make sure to wear your life jackets when boating or kayaking in this Reservoir…I also believe they should commemorate all the people who have lost their lives here each year.

I’m giving this 1 star- Not because Forebay Reservoir isn’t a uniquely beautiful spot to enjoy or even a great place to go camping/hiking/Fishing… But because there needs to be extra percussions taken when it comes to this specific reservoir, possibly signs indicating the dangers of getting into this body of water after a certain time frame-as they have water turbines that turn on each evening. Beautiful lake above twin lakes. Great views of Mt. Elbert. Easy access to the lake for fishing all around the lake. Huge boulders are around most of the lake making it difficult to access the lake. Went fishing here and caught several fish off of a dry fly. Great lake for the...

This lake is a gem! The views are awesome. We fished for 4 hours straight and the rainbow trout were biting the entire time. On the way up there is a really nice birds eye view of...
