Boulder Bend Glassworks — Attraction in Leavenworth

We have stopped in a few times traveling over the pass and purchased some of their work. Very beautiful. However this last stop we found out they were offering classes. We had asked about them the first time we stopped and they weren't at the time. When we found out they had some classes available for today, we jumped at the chance. It was a great experience. Craig and Jori were very good about clearly explaining the process and let us do a little practice before getting hands on with our piece. Since my wife and I are complete novices to glass blowing, we quickly found out how hard it is.

The class is a great glimpse into the work. They balanced out the amount of hands on while they performed some of the critical steps to make sure we had a chance to feel what it was like while still completing the project.

We decided to make glasses for our class and we were very happy with what we made. We look forward to when we pick them up and see the final product.

I hope to take this class a few more times and recommend it to anyone that has an interest. They will take good...

I don’t leave reviews often, but this was AMAZING!!! I would easily rate higher if I could. The instructors/owners, Craig and Jori, are such phenomenal people and really provided such incredible guidance, good vibes, and ownership over our own glass making process! We got to do SO much stuff, and it was really special to create a wine glass that I shaped from a lump of molten material! This glass blowing studio is a passion project for them (in the making for 10 years) and it really shows. My sister, mom, and I had such a blast making wine glasses and learning from Craig and Jori. Their sweet sweet pup Mola was the icing on the cake 🙂

It’s expensive but was worth every penny for us 🙂 I would really encourage anyone interested in glass...

I'm so glad we stopped by Boulder Bend Glassworks during our weekend trip to the Leavenworth area. Not only are the completed glass pieces on display absolutely stunning, but being able to watch the artist create in real time was such a delight! He was so gracious in explaining the process as he was working and showing us his progress along the way. I wish we could have afforded to buy more, but the glass dome we brought home is gorgeous and we're so happy with it! Thank you for the beautiful art piece that will spread light in our home and for the engaging and informative...
