I had the pleasure of officiating a wedding ceremony here about a month ago. This venue is absolutely gorgeous. There was an outdoor clearing where the ceremony could be held outside and then they moved inside the barn for the reception. The owner was a very kind gentleman. He made sure that the parking was easy and he took the couple on a hay rack ride after the ceremony so they could take pictures around the property. The bride had a house that she could utilize as her changing room and hangout spot. Everything about this place was just magical.

Imagine the perfect country wedding. This is it folks. Bar none. I've know the Schwinn Bros and their produce farm for years. When they wanted to build this venue they really went to great lengths to provide an amazing facility for people to use for all kinds of events. The cottage house is perfect for bridesmaids to get ready and the heated concrete floor keeps guests warm on the coldest winter days. Take a visit to see all the other great amenities they have to offer. Awesome job team!

My daughter's wedding and reception was held here. Ceremony was held outside in an area surrounded by woods. Reception was in an 11 year old Amish built barn that had restrooms and a kitchen added. Also had a small house were the girls could get ready. It had lots of mirrors and it's own bathroom. It was also air conditioned. The property has been owned by the same family for 100 years.

Bride and Groom be WARNED!

My wife and I were married here a few months ago.

I am leaving a 1 star rating for one reason and one reason only. The owner rudely interrupted our ceremony to give his ownership pitch about the barn. They didn't ask if it was ok before hand and as it turns out, they never do. Not only were we interrupted, but at the end of his little speech, he said 'Thank you all for coming out, have a good night', like the evening was over.

Also, he started blowing out candles and clearing tables at 10pm. There were still far too many guests at that time to constitute such a thing. They want you winding down at 11 and out by midnight. We had arrangements with family and friends to get the place cleaned up and cleared out. Let us enjoy our evening like grown adults.

I did call and talk to the owner about it a few weeks after. He asked what he could do to make it right. Unfortunately, you dont get redos on your wedding night and me asking for a refund wasnt going to fly. So nothing was done about it, other than an apology over the phone.

A couple of other things to note. We were told when we rented the venue that chairs would be setup for us morning of. That did not happen, even though they wanted an accurate head count the week before. We also rented the table linens through them. They showed up 3 hours late and forced several uninvolved people to do last minute setup on all of the tables for the reception. Finally, the kitchen is not a 'chefs' kitchen as advertised.

The venue looks amazing, so they got that part right. It is very charming and we had a gorgeous wedding. My bride was beautiful and the wedding went off just as planned. For such a once in a lifetime experience, it just blows my mind that a stranger thinks they have a right to interrupt your wedding unannounced, in a venue that you paid over three thousand dollars to use for less...

We got married this last weekend at The Barn at Schwinn Produce Farm and it was absolutely beautiful! The ceremony area is artificial turf and has a really beautiful canopy of trees overhead. The Bridal house is between the barn and the ceremony area and it is a cute little building with AC, plenty of mirrors and a bathroom. The Barn is stunning! It is perfect! Very large and spacious, with a full kitchen and fridge, bathrooms and a bar. They also have 2 sets of chairs which made the transition from ceremony to reception a piece of cake. The best part is you have multiple people you can contact which when we were venue hunting that was a big problem we ran into. The Schwinn brothers are extremely nice and easy to work with and so is Sarah. Her and her husband Evan do wedding planning and coordinating. We hired Evan to be our day of coordinator and he did a fantastic job! Everything ran so smoothly and the couple hiccups we did have he took care of no problem. The only negative thing I would say is it is a pricy venue, but you also get what you pay for. I am so glad we got married here it is so...

Absolutely can’t say enough good things about this event space and their wonderful staff. Great location for our family wedding reception. So many photo op locations around the property and inside the barn. Bartenders were very friendly and helpful throughout the evening. From the initial setup till cleanup at the end of the night, all the staff pitched in to help us. The staff kept the event space clean during the evening, especially when guests accidentally spilled drinks. Would highly recommend the Barn for your wedding reception or other large...
