Read moreThis place was nice. The park rangers are amazing and go above and beyond for anyone who needs help. Very informative. I will say I was taken back a little bit when we saw where the swimming was at. It's a bit confusing cause there are signs all over the place that says no swimming but then says swimming is allowed. Well the area where you swim at, is not really the nicest area to swim. In our opinions it was a little bit dirty. They do however have a pathway near the volleyball area that leads to water but then it has tons of big rocks in the water. I would say this is not the best park to swim at. On there map there is hiking which is a little down thr road but when we went to go hiking all it was really was just authorized vehicles only roads. So not actual hiking as there was construction areas around it. I like that they have a little store there so you don't have to drive all the way in town if you happen to forget something. They have coffee in the morning if you want it but it will cost you to get it. The showers are 50 cents for 3 minutes, although when you stick 1 quarter in, it starts immediately. You can fishing their and I highly recommend that cause the fish are huge and literally right there. So easy fishing area. They have wifi. The campsites are big. The view of the mountain is gorgeous at night. They also have an owl that visits there too. Lots of swallows, cowbirds, and cedar waxing everywhere. Watch out for the pinecones that fall out of the trees for they have...
Read moreThis is one of the best state parks in the state. We stayed there a few times in the summer of 2017 to go jet skiing and it's the perfect place for it. This part of lake Chelan is considerably less windy then the area around the town of Chelan. This park has a nice accesable boat launch with two ramps. There are marina spaces that available to rent while your staying in the park. The marina is also protected by a wave wall so your boat won't get banged around. The marina also has boat fuel for sale. The camping space are nice and spread out many have trees between them so your not right next to a bunch of other campers. They have two restrooms building both have multiple showers in them costing 75 cents for 3 minutes. The park also has a little convient store that sells a little bit of everything from ice, beer and wine to tent repair kits. And if your not there to go boating there are hiking trails and places...
