I-Lan Park — Attraction in Leawood

what a wonderful, well maintained walking trail. if you're in south overland park ks you need to check it out. walked for an hour and a half. tree covered, beautiful homes through the trees.... complete with streams to cross, wildlife, birds, bike trail, wide walking path you'll feel safe on. Great experience. Get out and enjoy a hike from around 129th and Nall to 435 and Roe Ave. Take a friend or just enjoy a peaceful stroll on your own... but you need to spend a little time on this trail....

Nice little park, good local entry point to the Tomahawk Creek Trail. My one criticism is when someone has an event at one of the shelters it seems to exhaust all the parking spaces in the small parking lot. We went there on Sunday and were not able to find an open parking space. First time I have not been able to enjoy a park because I couldn't find a parking space. Oh, and watch out for the sink faucets in the bathroom, the water pressure is surprisingly high...you'll get drenched if you are...

Great Park for families with playground, open grass area, beautiful landscape, and walking trail that runs along the Tomahwak Creek.

It's not very busy here. They have a public restroom but I have never used it.

There is also a utility stand for bike repairs or bike tire pump. It's actually well kept by the public and city.

There are two pavilions that are available for a picnic. I don't knownif you need reservations, it might just be first come first serve but check with the...
