I enjoyed this trail overall but it's worth noting that there's a reasonably long stretch with pricker bush creepers reaching across from both sides of the trail. This part of the trail perhaps just hasn't been maintained yet this season, and for me with long pants was manageable enough. But, for my friends in shorts and leggings, not so much...

I should have had my machete. Ended up with bloody lip from thorn bush hitting me in the face. After this you go on paved road then gravel for short period before going back into the woods.
