Voorhees State Park is an amazing camping experience for the whole family, from drive-in camping lots to cabins that can be rented out, all within walking distance of the restrooms, which include showers.

The restrooms stay open all night, include a sink for washing dirty dishes, showers, are kept very clean, and are in walking distance of all the camp sites.

They have group camping separated from family camping sites, which makes the local playground, next to the restrooms, a great place for all the children to hang out.

Camp sites in the immediate circle may be a little close to each other, but if you want, you can choose an outer loop to reserve, and those are farther apart.

The dumpsters are on the entrance road away from the camp sites and have anti-tamper bear seals.

All in all, this is a great camping spot for the family and will be...

Very mixed feelings about this campsite. First of all, amazing, new, clean and well maintained bathrooms, which is amazing! Other perks: there's an observatory that does star gazing on Saturday nights. And you get access to Spruce Run and Round Valley for swimming/boating, etc. BUT, the majority of the site here (Voorhees) are extremely rocky with no good place for a tent (and many opportunities for twisting an ankle). I spent half an hour clearing my site, and still I felt multiple rocks under my tent. Every time I had to walk between my car and my picnic table, fire, or tent, I had to pick my way across to avoid tripping and falling. Not a relaxing weekend. Sites 1-4 are grass - grab one of those if you can. The rest are pretty much uninhabitable (which explains why there's always so much...

Beautiful Wooded Park. Lots of trails with elevation change. One trail has gravel but most trails are dirt. The trails can get just a little overgrown in late spring but it's never anything you can't navigate. The site and trails are rarely crowded and sometimes I don't see a single other person making it a great escape. Plenty of small streams and a couple neat stone/wood bridges. The campgrounds were recently rebovated and look great! There is also an observatory here! Be prepared to see wildlife including black bears although...

🗺️ 🔎Hike & Seek at Voorhees State Park! 👀🌌 Took my dog Atom with me on a hike on the Scenic View Trail, where we were soaking in all the cool planet facts and vibes, and left a little surprise for my fellow adventurers! 👀✨ Hidden at the bottom of a carved tree (peep the CC logo!), you’ll find a Marcel waiting for a new friend! 🐚 Can you spot it? Drop a comment if you find Marcel! Happy hunting! 🌳🔍 #CCCre8tive #HikeAndSeek #VoorheesStatePark #AdventureTime #FindMarcel #staycre8tive #grtactive #hike #hunting #happyhunting #treasurehunt #3dprint #marcel #fanart #a24

Beautiful , quiet State Park with fun trails. We love the trail along the stream . Wear appropriate footwear. The easiest trail is to campground . Campground was clean and comfortable . Park itself is very clean and people do not litter one of the top reasons I love this park . They have areas for tents as well as log huts for rent. There are 2 playgrounds with shelters in the park. Park is wonderful for kids as there are all kinds of animals and birds. Just keep in mind that the main road is little bumpy.
