Funny no where on the internet can I find any information on what happened at Red cedar so for those of you who didn't grow up in Lebanon I'm going to let you in on a local secret. The place is haunted and not just somewhat haunted. It's hear voices in the dark everytime you walk through there at nite EVERYTIME. No matter who I've gone in with no matter how many people you can't shake the feeling of unease and you will hear running in the woods, laughter, words. In the 30's it was a boys camp which later on burned down in the 70s. Legend is back around the 30s a counselor and a few kids went into the woods only to then have only 1 of the kids be found. He was broken and could not be brought back to sanity to find out what happened to the others. Not long after the boy died and it was summed up to this. The counselor took the other kids they think he killed them all not knowing one had escaped then the counselor fled. The boy was beyond insane so what really happened was unknown for no bodies, no trace nothing was found. It is said that until it burned down it was a hot spot for bad things to happen and everyone knew the woods were haunted. I went their one night to commit suicide. It was so powerful in there I couldn't imagine letting my soul be stuck there for I knew that's what would happen. Now years later i still go back whenever I'm feeling life can't get any worse i go there. Go there at nite walk the trail from the yellow gate DO NOT TAKE SIDE TRAILS they are there to lure you into the woods to a place you can't get out. If you come across what appears to be a old baseball field GET OUT I promise what I'm saying is real. I've been to dudley town, camp ct, the religious camp not one of them can do for you what red cedar can. If you're looking to...
