Nice park with a play structure and walking trails that go along the river through Gill's landing dock, leading to continuing trails. The park has a restroom and a covered area for a get-together. We had our son's sixth birthday at River park. It was raining, yet parking is right next to and close to the covered area, bathrooms, and play structure. The park is well kept and a great place for playing ball, walking, and picnics...

There was nothing particularly remarkable about this place. We took the kids to the playground. It was ideal for 5+, but there isn't much there for younger children. There is a lot of open space and shaded areas for field games and picnics. There is also an RV dump station that had at least 8 RV/campers waiting in a line the whole time we were there midday...
