Downtown Lee's Summit Main Street — Attraction in Lee's Summit

Lots of events but never enough bathrooms. Businesses won't allow you to use their bathroom even if you make a purchase and 3 porta potties every 2-4 blocks isn't enough to accommodate the crowds. If you're lucky enough to find an unoccupied porta potty it's so disgusting or destroyed that you can't use it. At the most recent event, Oktoberfest, many businesses acted annoyed to even have patrons browsing their stores. Very unwelcoming. Vendors in the street booths were unfriendly or just ignored you. Cute downtown area, well lit with good sidewalks. Street parking with handicap spots, all spots have marked lines. Bars, coffee shops, ice cream shop, boutique stores, and even a few breweries and restaurants as well, some banks, and an escape room. Plus the Lee's Summit Amtrak train station. Safe place to have a night out, and very family friendly, and clean. It has definitely gotten bougie over the years but still basically all locally owned nice spots. Overall was so much fun until we got to the rides. My daughter was made fun of by a very mean old man named RON who was conducting the ride.. As my child exited the ride for being scared and not wanting to ride it anymore he mocked and made fun of her saying WOW. He also wouldn't give her ticket back so she could ride something else.
