I've been going to dog parks in various cities since 1999, have been going to this one since 2008. At first it was great, but lately, I'm seeing way too many incidents. It's probably the worst park I've ever been to in terms of dog (and people) incidents. I know they don't care, but Animal Control needs to start making a visible presence out there..way too many violations of the rules and owners bringing dogs to the park that should not be in the park. This community has a lot of shelter dogs, many of whom have never been socialized with other animals, and I'll be blunt, many of the humans in this city also have minimal social skills. A warning to those not aware, Pit Bulls are legal in this city... before the Pit Bull apologist go crazy, I've never seen a horrible incident involving a Pit Bull, but I've seen plenty of close calls and plenty of Pits that should not have been brought to the park. Have a plan beforehand as to what you're going to do if a Pit vice locks your dogs head in its mouth while the tattooed owners laugh. Hint...your hands won't...

This park has all the potential to be a 4 star park. However, I've been skipping this park in favor of Dogwood lately. There is a low point in the big grassy area that collects water. I would deal with it for a few days after a heavy rain, but this mud puddle persists for weeks after a rain. A fellow dog park frequenter mentioned to me he stopped going to this park for the same reason, and mentioned it may be a broken water pipe or something. My dog gets into the mud, and also drinks it and gets sick for about 24 hours. This happened on 3 different occasions. Please set up the environment for the pups to succeed. Put some sand out there, a cheap fence, anything. This has to be resolved! As soon as the issue is permanently resolved, I'd be happy to update this review to 4 stars. Until then, the park is literally unusable and I won't...

This place is awesome! Very well kept and my dog LOVES it. They have poop bags on site. If you are unsure if it would b a good fit for your dog, head up for a visit without your pooch to observe before you take your dog. My dog does love other dogs as do all dogs there. This is a great way to have your dog burn energy and be social if your dog needs either of those things and likes other dogs or is at least not bothered by them if he or she doesnt enjoy actually playin with other dogs. Take your own travelnwater bowl if you go before Memorial day because the drinking fountains are off until then. If your dog plays at all, they will for sure be thirsty regardless of weather! We...

You can tell a lot about the community from the dog park. The park is well kept, clean there are doggy bags, trash cans, a fountain for people and dogs, obstacle courses for dogs, a cement lap for walking. There is a fairly large parking lot. Outside of the dog park there is a small children's park which is partially fenced in. I got the impression that this is a family oriented area. The dog park is divided into a large section for large dogs and a small section for small dogs. I snapped a handful of pictures. This is a sister Park to the Dogwood dog park just north west of here (also, very well-maintained).

This park doesn't have a ton to offer for little kids. The biggest part on the playground was covered with flies with no real sign of why. I would have loved to take him in to the dog park walking area since it's fenced in, and to see some doggos, even though we don't have one. But the sign says no patrons without dogs. I get it. We didn't stay too long at the park, as it got boring quick and no other kiddos there. Portapotty was pretty dirty, of course. I did feel safe there, though. However, it is close to the road.

This is actually my daughter's one of the Parks favorite she goes to because it is so close to our house. Though we do not have a dog to bring but she enjoyed it here not only playing but meeting new friends. I just do not like the available public restrooms because it is just a portable one which is not well-maintained and never use it even one time I really need to go I decided to go back home and had a hard holding on to it. Huhuhu. Overall it us a nice dog park aside from the restrooms.
