What's not to love about this park?! It has covered picnic tables, a splash pad, frisbee golf, walking trails, baby swings with adult swings attached to them, standalone baby swings, standard swings, and lots of jungle gym play space. Easily one of my favorite parks in the area.
Update: we still love this park. My kids enjoy the creek that runs through the woods, and they played in the little rock creek that runs under the foot bridge last time. It's not very shady where the party equipment is, but the splash pad makes it easy to cool off. The last time we were there, an adult man was smoking weed near the playground even though he didn't have any kids with him. It was a little odd, but he just kept to himself. Read morePlayed the new 9 hole course today at Howard Park and had a great time! Keep in mind that it's a new course and is still in development. There are no tee pads and no signage yet, but still wasn't too hard to navigate. The numbered posts at the tees and the baskets being numbered help with the navigation. It's a technical course but still fun to play. Definitely need some bridges because you have to cross the creek several times during play. They eventually moved so we could set up, the park was relatively up kept, the bathrooms needed to be cleaned, the park equipment was maintained, and the creek was a nice added feature.
