Here are 5 great parks to visit this summer in the Kansas City metro area:
🐛Lowenstein Park - 1901 NW Lowenstein Dr. Lee’s Summit, MO
It’s big, purple, and features cute caterpillar and raccoon toddler features, a butterfly garden, a bar ninja-warrior type course, and multiple slides!
🛹Rolling Magic Skate Park - 87th Street Parkway and Greenway Ln. Lenexa, KS
A brand new skate park just rolled out in Lenexa and it is smooth sailing for kids of all ages! A big bowl, beginner’s zone, pipes, rails, and more are available at this inclusive park.
⚾️Wyandotte County Park Inclusive Playground - North 126th Street & State Ave. Bonner Springs, KS
A Royals baseball-themed park with a ticket booth, score board, in-ground merry-go-round, and inclusive features!
🛝Arno Park - 1200 Arno Rd. - Kansas City, MO
A new KC park with a big blue slide! We love the rope course, toddler play set, concrete slide, bumblebee teeter-totter, and spinners at this park.
🐋Tiffany Hills Park - 9400 N Congress Ave. Kansas City, MO
An underwater-themed park near the Springs Aquatic Center features a large ship, an under-the-sea toddler play set, and inclusive ramps. This one is fun for all ages!

This park is pretty dope!! You have places to explore on concrete paths where you could ride a bide, roller blade or just walk. Amazing slides for the bigger kids. Then they have a little park for the littles. They also have a fitness area for kids & it tells you what to do to workout. They put some thought into this park. There are restrooms for male/female. There are two covered pavilions where you can have a celebration. Also there are benches all around the park where parents can sit & watch their children play. I added updated photos.

I like this park but it can get crowded quickly. The equipment is still new, so it'll be hard to tell how well it will be maintained for another year or two.
In my experience most people are pleasant and courteous, and their kids, the same. Parking is a little tight, but still managed to unload the kids without sliding doors.
Facilities are locked in the "off season" (boo), and there is a lack of shade near the playground area, other than 2 shelters. (Which, if rented, provide nothing to other visitors)
All in all, it's a nice park in a nice area with a good sense of community. 5/5 because there isn't a half scale on Google, and I don't want to go...

Clean and inviting! Nice new equipment for all ages! There were many imaginative play items, like this flower that my 6 year old boy LOVED to spin in! There was a hill and a tunnel in the younger section. There are ability-inclusive swings and equipment. There was even what looks like workout equipment in the area near the restrooms. The trail is nice and the fountain/pergola area. The height of the slide equipment was initially off-putting, but after analyzing it with my mommy radar, seems pretty safe. We will...
