I was there for their opening and looked at getting a game in. A member of my group called ahead earlier in the week and was told there was tables. I showed up and there was no tables. I tried multiple times to get an employee's attention to get a table and was ignored so they could talk with their friends or eat from the food trucks outside even through they were only been open for 45 minutes. After several tries to ask a question I went and chose something to buy from their very limited selection. Went to check out and was completely ignored for another ten minutes even though not one person was doing anything but standing, chatting to friends and eating. The guy at the dice case looked at me several times and then returned to his thousand meter stare day dreaming. Finally someone asked if I am ready even though I was standing at the register for 10 minutes. She acted like I was some homeless bum asking to break a fiver for change for the vending machine. This is an unforgivable sin the business world. After paying I left and will not return.
This is a grand opening so you should be making your store shine with its customer service. But the staff in this store failed this critical test that so many other shutter gaming stores have found that closed their businesses. Being ignored by all the staff for doing the basic job of a business leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. I have money to spend on my hobby and will give it to a rival store that is willing to ask a simple question, "May...
Read moreI want to give a shout out to this shop for their customer service! I shopped here while visiting the area. I asked about duplicates in the $10 blind box with about 200 cards in it and was assured there would be few to none. The label also said about 10% would be rare/mythic. I took the box home and found that there were many duplicates, with 5-6 of several cards, and only 9 rares. I did get my money's worth and more--no problem there. I messaged the store just to let them know so they could more accurately describe the boxes to future customers. I promptly got a profuse apology and an offer for a free box done right. When I went to get it the next day, the owner included 4 draft boosters from recent sets. He also explained that staff had been retrained on how to assemble the blind boxes so the problem shouldn't recur. He used sign language to apologize to me--I'm deaf. The second blind box was awesome, with more than 20 rares and one mythic rare. There were only 3 duplicates, all doubles of different cards. I also liked the atmosphere in the store; there were many people chatting and playing games. The store is still clearly building up stock, although there was already plenty to choose from in all the categories advertised. I definitely plan to come back when I...
Read moreThey’ve got a pretty awesome place to play games in the back they’ve got a selection of citadel paints although it seems like they’re regularly out of them not a lot of brushes but they do have really cool stuff for making terrain as well as some paints iv only seen there. so it’s definitely a worthwhile place to check out they have a neat selection of board games. so far I haven’t had any great interactions with the staff but it hasn’t been negative. They really don’t have a huge selection of magic things or warhammer miniatures for sale I thought it was a slight of hand magic store at first but it’s a tabletop mostly, but I do love anywhere who specializes in Warhammer or dungeons and dragons. They have lots and lots of dungeons and dragons books ,but not that many figurines although the figurines they do have are extremely well priced and the ones they have are a pretty awesome selection of stuff you would need. They have acrylic washes which I really never seen anywhere else which is pretty freaking cool. Glad to see somewhere like this...
