I would say the last 11 experiences I've had at this particular target have been bad. 4 or 5 of those experiences have been multiple coupons from the cartwheel app that don't actually come off of my total, and having to come back to address the situation. Other times, it has been the poor customer service. There are alot of young employees that don't act professional, helpful, nor friendly. Times of trying to use the fitting rooms and employees standing around gossiping, and just simply won't acknowledge you standing there, attempting to get some help, or if they do, they don't say anything to you, they just look at you with a bothersome look as they continue to gossip, never even pausing their conversation. The last visit I had, I was in the baby section and a young man and girl were gossiping about how hot Beyonce was, and what famous person they would like to hook up with. Followed by the young man singing Beyonce very loudly for an entire song. It was both annoying, and disruptive to the people around him. This past visit, I had 2 coupons from the app that didn't deduct, and upon calling the store for the manager, I spoke to a young lady named trinity, who was completely rude. She spoke to me in a sarcastic tone when I was trying to explain my issues to her. Upon giving her examples of the issues I've had, she laughed out loud, and said "I highly doubt any of that has happened." At that point I was extremely heated, and she ended up hanging up the phone on me. I go to target because of the cartwheel app. It is completely inconvient and out of my way, as I live all the way across town. When the coupons don't deduct and I have to make another trip back inside, it's a complete hassle as I have a baby to cart around. After this last experience with "trinity" I will never, absolutely never be back into that store. I've had so many bad experiences with that target at this point. Maybe it's because I'm in there atleast once a week that it allows for me to have more bad experiences than the average person, but I will not tolerate it any more. I will never be back, and I'll be sure to let everyone I know what I've...
Read moreWe were visiting target today to look for a tree my daughter as hers was ruined recently. We got SO lucky and just happened to see one she loved! It was the last one in stock so we asked if we could purchase it. We were told this particular store doesn’t sell anything that been on display and to go online to find it. Since it didn’t have a tag, I asked the associate if she would kindly help me find it, as we wanted to get it ordered as quickly as possible. She said that she wouldn’t be able to do that, and that there were also no managers on duty to be able to assist us. Again, this was approximately noon on Sunday. I asked if anyone at all would be able to at least tell us what the tree is called or even an item number to look it up and was told to call customer service because the store couldn’t help. So I took pictures of the tree and contacted customer service via chat on the way home. I was told that they also couldn’t do anything to help because it was a store issue and the store should have been able to sell us the tree. He said that there was no way to look up the tree in the database even though I sent him pictures, and that we were going to have to go back to the store in person to request to speak with a store manager. I told the customer service rep we were just in the store and told both managers scheduled to work that day weren’t there. He said there was nothing else he could do. Needless to say, we still don’t have the tree that she wants, and I have even offered to pay full price for the display model. I am attaching a picture in the hopes that someone else could please help identify an item number or name so that I can go online and purchase it. Extremely unsatisfied with the store, not to mention the place was a complete disaster and there were clothes and boxes thrown everywhere. Would not recommend. It’s worth the drive to go...
Read moreI purchased beats headsets for my son today May 29th at 3:14pm at the blue springs location. (Target corporate location)
The left side of the headsets didn’t work once we tested them at track practice. I left mid practice to the Target store up to Lees Summit about 5min away. (Corporate location)
I get into the store show my receipt and explained the item was defective and asked for an exchange. The clerk lady was nice and stated she could help me with that.
Once we get the new headsets and head back to the counter another Target employee who stated she was a store manager Isabell said,” any electronic item purchased the same day at another location couldn’t be exchanged.
I asked her where does it state that in the policy. She couldn’t give me an answer and continued to push back and eventually said she will do it for me this time. I said I don’t need you to do anything for me against the policy show where does it say it in the policy. She said just take care of it and walked away.
The way she spoke to me was condescending and very uncomfortable. The policy specifically states
“We offer exchanges in store on most items based on the return policy window. If an exchange can't be completed, a return and purchase of a new item may be offered within the return policy and return window.
All Apple® & Beats products (including mobile phones) must be returned / exchanged within 14 days.”
I had the receipt, my ID, the physical card I used for the original purchase. I shop here all the time and never had an issue. This is very disappointing knowing target hires people who treat their customers like this who have been shopping here for years.
I’m really just...
