A nice, quick trail with a very satisfying view near the monument. The trail is closed in a small section because of some run off or drainage ditch. A short stretch of the trail was missing some clear markings. There's practically no road noise, and the forest is almost all you hear on the trail. It's a great trail to quicky find a peaceful spot...

We visited after a couple rainy days and while the hike is not hard, the mosquitoes were dreadful. Parking is only a long the side of the road, some boardwalks are built over soggy areas but they were very slippery. There are picnic tables along the way. The view at the top...

We visited after a couple rainy days and while the hike is not hard, the mosquitoes were dreadful. Parking is only a long the side of the road, some boardwalks are built over soggy areas but they were very slippery. There are picnic tables along the way. The view at the top is beautiful.

Only 0.4 miles to the top for a beautiful and incredible view! It’s a bit of an effort but the picnic tables at the top are so worth it. Bring some snacks because you’ll want to stay and enjoy the view!
