Northport Bay Retreat — Attraction in Leelanau Township

We had a great experience here with friends and family it was beyond amazing, could have stayed longer!! Came here a couple times as a kid and I felt the same way back then! It has everything you need except for food and clothes, you don't have to leave for your entire stay if you don't want to! Kids had a blast too! The owners were just great to work with through all of it! We forgot something in our room and they mailed it back to us free of charge. Thank you!

There are definitely some things that need attention, as is common with houses like this that get large groups at a time, but especially the games in the basement. All of them have something broken which I understand happens with heavy use but still it was difficult to play a few of them.

PERFECT venue! We had our wedding and reception there on October 16, 2020. Starting from the location (on the water) to the game room downstairs, it was absolutely awesome! We arrived to cute fall decorations outside the door. There is a huge parking lot (with a basketball court), all kinds of games to play inside and out. The living room is AMAZING! There is an electric fireplace in the living room with tons of seating. There are sliding glass doors from left to right. It's gorgeous. The kitchen was beautiful and spacious. They had any dish, bowl or glass you could think of needing. I could go on and on about this house. The views were out of this world...and there is a nice hot tub too. Book this place for any event you have and you will NOT be disappointed. ...

Just be cautious when renting this property! We were led to believe almost a year in advance that the property was booked every week except for one in the summer of 2016. We quickly booked the property for a family reunion but then had to cancel just barely outside of our cancellation period. The management company would not refund our deposit and was NOT able to rebook the property for a ten month period prior to our booking date! We found out there were other weeks available during the summer of 2016 so not sure if they had cancelled too or if we were given bad information. In high demand .. I don't think so! I would avoid this property for the sole reason that they are very difficult to work with .. bye bye...
