There’s some really great hiking trails, that I got lost on. Never did see a map of the trails. Luckily I was able to get my all trails map going and find my way out. I do plan to return with a better planned hike because what I did see was beautiful and I didn’t make it to a waterfall that is apparently out there. The color of the trails are marked but one color always seemed to lead to another color. So definitely plan your hike first. I parked at the park which was also very nice.

Nice, new neighborhood park. Main feature is a cute playground for younger children. Surrounding woods shade the area in mornings and evenings so it is less hot. Small picnic pavilion with 6-8 tables (can’t recall exactly) can be reserved. Only 1 grill. Access to hiking trails for Balls Bluff and connecting parks along the Potomac. Parking lot has limited space for maybe 15 cars? No restrooms or water fountains that I could see.

Amazing place to hike. It is an unexpected secret like trail. This place just seems like it only has a kids playground, but if you follow the trail into the woods, it has a beautiful trail along the river (go to river trail, and u can choose lower or elevated trail along it) and A LOT of beautiful bluebells! They disappear around end of may… so u must come in late march, april or may.

This playground is one of the best in Leesburg. The fact this park has such a nice playground and hiking trails that lead to the Potomac river makes this park unique. The playground is not as shaded as other areas in the park so it can get hot, probably best to visit early or late in the day during the summer months. The picnic pavilion is nice and a frequent spot for birthdays due to the close proximity to the playground. Families will have fun...
