Such a nice place to visit all times of the year. In the winter there’s a massive hill to sled down, and you can always watch sunsets or sunrises from the top of it. There’s plenty of trails and paths to walk. There’s a skate park, a dog park, and baseball fields, as well as a playground. There’s a pond too! Right next to the hill is the bike trail as well, and across the way is a little nature reserve where you can see butterflies,...

I really enjoyed the walking trail on the west side of the park, great place to walk with my dog. It was quiet, and the trail itself was well maintained. I had to just give three stars though because I encountered at least 10 piles of dog poop in less than an hour, sometimes right in middle of the walkway. Watch where you walk, because people don't seem to care about cleaning up...

Park divided by an old railroad right of way now a skate/bike trail. East 2/3 of park, flat, traditional playground, 2 softball fields, some tennis courts, artificial sledding hill. West 1/3 of park, rolling terrain and ongoing prairie restoration with mown trails for walks. Bring your dog.
