The park is lovely. We went to a birthday party and had a wonderful time. I did have an issue with two people parked behind me. I was parked in the disabled parking space. I am a disabled Navy Veteran. I tried to have my daughter's blow the horn letting the people know that we were leaving, but no on cared to move. When I got to my car, I blew the horn loud and long and still no one cared to come move their vehicles. So now, I have to use my voice to express myself. Now mind you, there was music playing and about four different parties going on at the same time. So I yelled very loudly so they could all hear me. (Since I've been told I can be very loud I figured that should not be a problem) I yelled, "CAN SOMEONE COME MOVE THESE CARS FROM BEHIND ME SO I CAN LEAVE, PLEASE!) then a woman comes from behind and says, "we'll move 'em!" She could have expressed something as she passed me prior to me yelling, but she just walked pass, very sassy like. Then the two ladies that decided to move the cars looked like it was such a problem for me to leave and them to let me out. Like I was wrong for wanting them to move their car to let me out. Why be a problem to others? Moving on..... It was a very beautiful day and the bump in the road was bothering, but all in all it was still a nice day out with friends old/seasoned and new.

This little hidden gem has a playground and a small divided (big/small dog) dog park with water service and newly added training obstacles. Drinking (Alcohol) is allowed, but no glass or kegs allowed. No smoking or vaping either. Lots of kids parties with jumpers and pinata's on the weekends so it can be crowded then, but the weekdays are easy parking and access. This park is well maintained (maintaince is on Wednesdays) with a newly added DG walking trail. There are also picnic cabanas with BBQs that can be reserved for a small fee. This park also has Thursday evening concerts with local bands during the summer. Check the Lemon Grove website for details.

Great and fun park! Lots of space behind the playgrounds offering a little escape route under the shade of the trees, perfect for a pic nic. There are restrooms, even a "neighborhood library book box" made by the Girls Scout at the entrance of the park. There is also a nice fenced dog park. 👍

Berry St Park is my favorite local park. Lots of green space, decent playground for the kids, trees to climb for my adventurous boys, and a fully fenced dog park.

We held my sons 9th birthday here and it was big success. We were able to use the large gazebo, which was plenty of space for our party of 25 or so. There was more than enough open grass space to accommodate all the games we played. My son says it’s one of his favorite parks because it has the best climbing trees.

The dog park is spacious and divided in 2 with a half for smaller dogs and one for larger dogs. It has a picnic table on the small side and 2 table and bench on the large side. There’s some shade on each side, but not much. There’s also agility training equipment available, if that’s something your doing with your dog. Owners who bring their dogs here keep the area clean and are watchful over their pets. We recently got our first family dog and have been bringing here almost every day to play and get her energy out. I was nervous at first, but it’s only been a good experience so far.

The bathrooms here are ok, not great. There’s sometimes graffiti around, but the city does try to keep it cleaned up. I wish there was a fitness circuit (pull up bars, dip bars, etc). I also wish there was a bit more shade at the dog park. Over all its...

I went to Berry park just yesterday and it was a peaceful day. I managed to arrive at the time not many were around. There are always friendly people and positive vibes. It has a way different atmosphere than others and is beautiful. Would recommend bringing your dog to this park. It has a very wide and neat grassland with trees. Has been my favorite for a long time, I haven't been on the swings after so many years but they don't look loud when I saw someone swinging on them.

Edit: I have now tested the swings today and they work wonderfully, your legs will have plenty of room beneath them even if they're long like mine! Plus they do not screech in your ears. I saw young children go on these swings without a problem, they might need a little help from an adult, but the kiddie swings besides them are also convenient for small children

Update: yes actually the swings do get loud for some reason, they could be a...
