I recently visited Brown Hill Farms with my mother-in-law, my kids, husband & I wanted to share my thoughts, particularly regarding the kid-friendliness of the venue and my experience with the staff.

First and foremost, the farm is a fantastic place for children! The atmosphere is vibrant, and there are plenty of activities that kept the kids engaged and excited. It's clear that they cater well to families, which is a huge plus.

However, my experience with the staff left much to be desired. When I mistakenly thought that the tulips were included in the ticket price, I sincerely apologized for the misunderstanding. Unfortunately, during the checkout process, the staff did not seem very interactive or welcoming. I felt as though they treated us with suspicion, which was quite disheartening. It gave me the impression that they thought we were trying to take advantage of the situation, which couldnโ€™t be further from the truth.

As someone with a background in customer service, I understand that misunderstandings can happen, and I believe that kindness and patience go a long way in resolving them. I walked out feeling terrible about the whole experience, especially since it was an honest mistake on my part.

I truly hope that the staff can improve their approach to customer interactions in the future. A little warmth and understanding would make a significant difference and enhance the overall experience for visitors.

Overall, while the farm is a wonderful destination for kids, the staff's demeanor could use some...

Staff/hosts were unfriendly and unwelcoming. Unfortunately, while we really wanted to say we enjoyed the visit, the general cold and curt reception we received after driving for hours just to visit them negated the experience. Furthermore, the place is really isolated and hard to reach. Itโ€™s not near anything so you would only go there to specifically visit the farm, which I think is not worth the drive if you are not from the area. There is also no routine opening hours and understandably, they may need to close for bad weather, so it wouldnโ€™t be worth going out there because there is nothing else to see within the vicinity should they need to close. The flowers were also underwhelming - basically, this farm was not something worth visiting since itโ€™s out of the way, and there are many other better farms close to town centers that are more accessible. Definitely could not...

Here today for the tulip days and it was beautiful! The farm is good size and the tulip rows are abundant, dense, and beautifully varigated with vibrant colors. The family has done a fantastic job of presenting the farm in its most beautiful state. The tulips were all fully open today...some even reaching past prime but the blossoms looked spectacular. There are many cute photo op spots. People tend to be slow at them. The field was crowded so photos without people in them are nearly impossible. Checkout was quick considering number of visitors. Baby animals were adorable though we did worry about the bunnies that were in the direct sun. Nice gift shop and food concession. Get your tix ahead, it makes everything easier. Farm open rain or shine. Muddy in spots so dont wear shoes you love! Fabulous photo ops for babies and many great play places for kids. Very...

This was my very first year visiting Brownshill Farm, making the trip all the way from the Southern Tier of NY, and it was absolutely worth it! ๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒป The tulip and sunflower festivals were both incredible. The tulip fields were vibrant and picture-perfect, and the sunflowers were breathtaking with so many fun photo props set up throughout the farm. The sunflower festival also had a great selection of vendors, which really added to the experience โ€” so many unique items and delicious treats to enjoy while walking through the fields. The farm itself is beautiful, well organized, and family-friendly. You can tell a lot of thought goes into making it a special experience for visitors. I canโ€™t wait to come back and check out the pumpkin festival this fall! ๐ŸŽƒ

The place continues to grow!! It has TONS of activities for the entire family. The kids delight in feeding the animals, there is a tricycle track, toy construction vehicle zone, swings, play houses etc!! The flowers are the main event and never disappoint...the views from the farm are breath taki g!! The market is well stocked with souvenirs, hand-made soaps, and other items that make perfect unique gifts. The staff truly goes out of their way to ensure everyone has a great experience. It's worth the trip every time.
