I've been visiting Wilson Creek 1 to 3 times every year since 1980. It was a place you could fish, find solitude, and recenter yourself. The creek just ain't what she used to be. Turned a bend below Mortimer bridge and saw satanic painting on the rocks. The amount of garbage and disrespect of nature left behind by people is disgusting. And Mortimer is now "reserved" camping for the "glampers" towing 35' trailers at 3 times the cost it was. The human destruction and disregard for that beautiful waterway is a shame.
