It’s a little trek getting to this campground considering how close it is to the freeway but it was very peaceful. We were there on a Thursday night and there were only a couple other campers. Rates were $15 and $20 (electric) that you used an envelope to pay. There were nice, wide trails to walk on, a small lake, overlook with picnic area, a clean bathroom with showers, and a playground.

Clean and level campsites, friendly staff, cant comment on noise of camp sites since we were only ones here. 5 mile dirt road wasn't too bad just take your time and stay away from some soft shoulders of the road. No water hookups for the camper but had 30 amp service for electric. Would stay again in the future.

This is a nice little campground with plenty of trails. It's a gravel road in 5 mile that isn't bad. I popped in on a Harley for motocamping after a rain. There is some interstate noise but very little it gets drowned out in the peace from birds that sing throughout the park...I even heard a pack of coyotes serenading the country side....take a closer look and you'll notice there are pine cones hanging from the trees in places...but no pine trees in the park. It added curiosity. There is tent camping here for 15 a night and rv camping too with electric on gravel pad...im not sure of the site...

Pretty park but BEWARE of ticks. Literally my husband and I were each covered with more than a hundred tiny ticks which were super annoying to remove. I had to change immediately out of my clothes because they were crawling all over my pants. Luckily we had tape in the car to aid us but it was really frustrating - and itchy. Dog seemed pretty itchy too but hopefully whatever bit him died since he’s on anti tick medication - they were so small I could not find...
