Read moreThe venue over all was very beautiful but we were thrown off with a lot of forgetfulness from one of the owners and empty promises come wedding day. I understand things happen but we were told things would be cleaned up and draping would be hung from the ceiling. We agreed on an ending time of 10pm from the start then was told 9:45 then was told 9:30. We also paid the venue for 2 bartenders and paid tips for two but was only given one. We paid for all the drinks but were only given back the alcohol we purchased. We set up the day before and communicated that we would be having a rehearsal and dinner there on multiple different occasions but the day of the wedding I was approached by the owner saying we didn’t tell them. The owners are up in age and it’s completely understandable that they can’t do much but again we were told they had to change students there for the summer to get everything done prior. From the start, the owners Jim and Maggie were kind, hospitable, knowledgeable, and most importantly for us when choosing them for our wedding: communicative. Jim was readily available to answer any question and enthusiastically allowed us multiple visits to the farm as we planned, and Maggie (as well as the bar team) were great in listening to our ideas and helping us make our signature cocktails into a reality.
Jubilee as a property is private and absolutely beautiful. The ceremony spot on the water is picturesque, and the new renovations to their reception barn really elevate the space. With three separate locations on property for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception - plus two lovely buildings for the bride and groom to get ready, Jubilee truly has everything you need....
