Leonardtown Maryland Antique Center — Attraction in Leonardtown

Many other shops in the area, with a much nicer staff! Joyce Donaldson/Maryland Antique Center failed to mention, in their response to my negative review that I paid for the item "I broke" and they where "made whole". This item was a caroler w/ skies, the item was listed at; $50.00. I returned with cash $60.00 to pay for the item I broke (which where a pair of $6.00 ski accessories to the caroler), within 1/2 hour after being told to leave. I never denied that it broke while i was looking at it and was never offered the item I paid for. I called the maker of this item, to find out the skies that broke did not belong with the caroler in the first place and I was never given the caroler nor an apology from Maryland antique center, when I called them to discuss what happen. I am responding to their statement about me which is not the entire truth surrounding this incident. Plenty of other much nicer antique shops to go to! Public information and...

I wish I could give this place no stars. We were in there for all of 5 minute and the lady we spoke to was the rudest woman I have ever met. And the gentlemen wouldn't even speak to us. We were trying g to get rid of an antique plate set and because we were missing a cup she rudely stated in not intrested. If she wasnt interested then ok but there was no reason to be rude about it. Absolutely horrible customer service within 5 minutes of us...

Just for public information, Susan Neff, a customer, broke an item in our store, she placed it back on the shelf, and walked away, I witnessed this. When approached she said she was sorry, but did not let us know until then. This is when she was asked to leave the store. We understand accidents happen, if she would of told us we would of been understanding, she did not do this and this is why she is upset.
