Leonidas Overlook — Attraction in Leonidas

Very pretty overlook! Simple easy overlook to drive in. Graded dirt road that drives in a long loop. Some unique flowers and trees. The overlook itself has a cement place to stand with a yellow bar that protects you from falling on 3 sides. Lots of old mine to look at. There is water at the bottom of it that has turned into a small lake. We saw a Bald Eagle and a hawk flying above us! There are some smaller hills on the drive, but not treacherous to drive on. Very pretty view in the fall! There was a sign talking about the recreation area that the mine has turned into now. A nice stop to be sure...
