Sand Bridge State Park, at only 3 acres, is PA’s smallest state park! It has picnic tables, a horseshoe pit, charcoal grills, two picnic pavilions, and an extra large charcoal grill at the upper pavilion. There is even restrooms up the path on the hill! This is a carry in/carry out picnic park with no trash receptacles. Located between Mifflinburg and R.B. Winter Stte Park on route 192. Use this address, 13180 Buffalo Rd, Mifflinburg, PA 17844 to find it in your GPS. #outdoors #adventure #explore #familytime

Sand Bridge State Park in Union County, PA is all of 3 acres in size and doesn’t have any hiking trails, but it is beautiful. This smallest state park in Pennsylvania is basically just a picnic spot, but Rapid Run goes through the park and offers a small waterfall and trout fishing. Not bad for the smallest park. It’s only a few miles from Raymond B. Winter state park, so it’s great for a quick stop while exploring the area. This is a small area that borders the R B Winters State Park in the Bald Eagle State Forest. It is mainly a picnic area off of Route 192. While it is small, it is beautiful. Rapid Run goes through the park and provides a photographic scenery. This park doesn’t have a park office, but there is a map and info about the area and brochures are available. We stopped at the park in the winter after hiking at R B Winters SP and enjoyed the river. The picnic area is shaded and there are a few pavilions as well. A scenic bridge goes over the river. This is a great spot after spending a morning in the forest and stopping for some lunch.

Sand Bridge State Park is situated off of PA Rte 192 in Union County. This park is the smallest state park in Pennsylvania consisting of just 3 acres of land. The state park consists of two picnic pavilions, several charcoal grills and picnic tables, a horseshoe pit, a primitive restroom and a bridge over Rapid Run. The location is nice and peaceful along the stream. Rapid Run is also a good stream for...

This was a nice little picnic spot with two pavilions for small gatherings. Not a ton of parking here, but a nice stop for lunch during a trip. A nice creek bisects the park. If you are looking for the PSP passport stamps for this park there were some on the notice board near the front pavilion. If they are out, they also have some located at Raymond B Winter state park's environmental learning...
