This is the single worst hiking trail I have ever seen. It may begin in a deceptively nice fashion through some peaceful woods, but after only a mile you're dropped off onto the side of the road where instead of looking at the beautiful scenery (which I firmly believe Stark County has no concept of how to appreciate) you are looking at abandoned furniture and looking out for 18-wheelers barreling down the road. Kayaking this place is beautiful and they have plenty of space to picnic too. We really enjoyed our time on the water especially spotting all the herons too and looping around the reservoirs dead ends (good and fun thing to do lol)

Biking was also quite fun although pretty short even though the bike trail does split off the road for a ways down then your back on the trail. We couldn’t trust it because people go so insanely fast down that road. So we felt it was best to turn around than ride onto the road to continue the trail.

Overall this place was well worth the drive it’s very beautiful and...

Today was my first time here. It's beautiful! I rode my bike and I rode from the Deer Creek through the Mahoning River trail. I really enjoyed it and will definitely go back! It wasnt overly crowded which I liked also. Most people were fishing so it must be a good spot for that. I'm giving only 4 stars because you do have to ride/walk along a road to get to the trail connection and it would have been nice to at least have a side walk. However, the road really wasn't that busy and I didn't feel unsafe so it didn't bother...
