I attended a class on microinvertabrates and fish of Kentucky here. The class of very informative and they have a great building on site to host the event. There are also good trails to go hiking, but the site is only open on appointment or doing events.

Based on my brief experience, Floracliff features a big fence, padlocked gate, and an impressive display of threatening signs. As I studied the penalties of unauthorized entry and tested the strength of their galvanized metal ramparts, a docent of Floracliff Tree Museum sped her pickup to the gate to advise me to visit some other preserve. Amazing place dedicated to teaching everything about native plants, and animals. This place does an awesome job keeping part of Kentucky land preserved. If you want to visit you must either become a volunteer, or enlist in one of the many event programs throughout the year. If you like hiking, waterfalls, and nature, this is the...
