Green Needles Park — Attraction in Lexington

This a cute clean park. My four kids enjoy it here and so do I. Ages 11-5 They have a small swing area for big and babies. Also a large playground set. Its partially fenced in so it helps keeping kids away from the road and houses near by. Great area to play ball there is a basketball court and large area to throw a ball or play soccer. Ut has a large pavilion too...

The rock walls have fiberglass coming off of them, leaving it stuck in your skin when you climb up them. Graffiti all over the place. Almost no shade for the children. Almost nothing for kids to do when the sun is out, the slides ar hot the Rockwalls will hurt your kids and the swings are hot. All a kid can do is climb up and...

Park is clean and fun for ages 5-12. Would have enjoyed more if there was a public bathroom available. The surrounding neighborhood was unkept, and there were several cars that would park in the parking lot and sit while not getting out...eventually they would drive away or continue to sit...
