One of my favorite last-minute bass fishing spots in the Troy area. Savage Lake is located off of Hwy 56, 10 minutes (or less) from Troy, and maybe 25 minutes from Libby. There is one public boat launch with an outhouse. The boat ramp is a bit narrow and forces folks with longer boats to start your descent down the ramp from Highway 56 (watch for traffic!). The Cabinet Mountains are directly to the east... the view is FANTASTIC!
