Shame on the management of the mountain for the false promise of opening on January 15th. Several people spent their hard earned money on hotels in Libby, gas food and lodging for a dry run. Someone allowed the diesel to gum up preventing the lift from running.... totally preventable, but stuff happens. They had everyone wait until 10:30 to make a call, then said they wouldn't open due to the diesel issue. However, they did invite everyone back for opening day, now the 19th. No problem, stuff happens! What they didn't inform us of, is that a rich group of clowns from Whitefish on fat skis with butt diapers would have the mountain Thursday before opening. I even booked a room for Thursday and Friday, which I've now cancelled. How inconsiderate to the group of people that had collectively spent thousands to get there for a skunking. Everyone that showed up Monday should have been at least sold a voucher and the mountain opened to the public first, giving those folks that flushed hundreds an opportunity to ski and ride before a private.group of A-holes. But hey, they did get us to linger a while and spend money on food and coffee. I was a huge fan of supporting this grass roots ski area, and the mountain is awesome, but I won't go back.

They needed new snow like everyone else but I still managed to find a patch that was practically untouched next to the boundary on Power Dive. Fun hill, good value, friendly faces. Tailgating is great in the parking lot literally steps from the lift. 2wd vehicles may struggle on the road up on snow days.

We stopped and skied Turner for two days on our road trip. It is such a neat mountain, full of history! Super long runs. Great food in the lodge. The entire staff seemed like family and were just genuinely happy to be there. It was heartwarming to see this kind of place still exist!

Holy cow!!! What an ski hill! Excuse me, did I say "hill"? I meant MOUNTAIN! Turner packs an awesome vertical punch and those 2000+ feet are stuffed full of skiing. I live over on the east side of the divide and often ski small ski hills in Montana but this place earned a place in my heart. The staff was so friendly and chatty and happy to share their (exclusively positive) thoughts on the area, the runs, etc. Off groomers was incredible, groomers were SUPER well done with no devastating lips or bumps to turn a downhill rip into a Tasmanian devil yard sale. The snow was great, the area was beautiful, the road up there well taken care of and ya- just awesome. Thanks so much Turner. We live 6 hours away from the mountain and that doesn't even cross my mind when I start thinking about heading back. Take care everyone, have a great season and if you're reading this- flipping...

I grew up Snowboarding on this mountain and was very fortunate to have done so. Turner is a small volunteer run resort that will offer you a once-in-a-lifetime experience of the great powder, short lines, and great people. Many times it will make you feel like you have the whole mountain to yourself. Turner is steep,...
