Went to the Barefoot in the Park event. Very enjoyable! Car Show preceded, and the combined event would have been 5 stars if the car show started an hour later and overlapped the Barefoot event by 1 hour. This would have better filled the first hour of the Barefoot event and allowed families to enjoy both events starting at 4pm rather than having to arrive at the Car Show before 3 to really see the cars. Both events were well done, the food trucks and various vendor booths were excellent and there was a variety. The parks facilities are clean and in excellent condition. Great location for the event, superb area for the symphony, great sound, and the size of the park allowed family groups to enjoy each other's company without being right on top of each other. The summer concerts and movies are so fun! One of my very favorite memories came from when the Cherry Poppin' Daddies came through town.
