There is something at this park.

Just a little off the trail that goes up into the private property area, I have personally had several strange things happen to me. I've been up there about three times alone. It may seem silly or a little dramatic but this place has sent chills down my spine

Knocking, high up in the trees. Not random, but in a pattern. I think when i heard it, it came in batches of three or four. This was around the 'Monroe Mushrooms' area on the map. Besides the knocking, When you enter this area, it feels like something is around you. The grass and leaves rustle like crazy.

Theres a bench up here, too. Way off the path and very quiet. Thats the bench in the attached image.

The last time I came here, I was walking toward the bench, and I noticed some strange looking twigs hanging from a dead bush. I looked a little closer, and the twigs werent naturally hanging there. They were tied to the bush with BARBED WIRE, and it looked like something straight from Blair Witch project. I didnt even stop to take a picture, I just ran back to...

This has become a very regular hike for us. It’s easy. Has a mild level of challenge. It fulfills a “let’s go for a quick hike” thought or a bit of a challenge if you go off the main trail. But lately, the first bridge you encounter, has been broken. Don’t know if it’s due to vandalism or just wear and tear, but now two planks are an issue: one is 1/2-way gone leaving a jagged edge on what’s left. One is completely gone. It’s not a deal-breaker but...

There is a great spot to jump into the water from a mini cliff. Coords are 39.430655, -84.428403 if I remember correctly where it is. Jump at your own risk, conditions may have changed since I last did this years ago. There should be a large tree sticking out over the water to your right. You need to get a running start because the edge of the cliff isn't directly over the water and it...

Dudley Woods is a small park with quiet woodland walking trails. It is a good place for bird watching and depending on the season a good place to find water fowl. Trails are usually muddy and are occasionally closed for repair. Not really a great place for a picnic but a good place for a hike that is mostly level. The park does have bathrooms at the entrance to the trails.

We walked the trail and cooled off a bit in the creek bed looking for any nature treasures. Everything was so lush and beautiful, we even saw the most beautiful little blue bird (making me think of Cinderella) but unable to photo. Nice little place to enjoy the outside to take a walk.
