I've been 3 times this summer. Some days are not as busy of a wait to see & feed giraffes. There are camels, lions, zebras, birds, bugs, wort hogs and cheetahs. Sorry if I forgot anything, there's a lot to enjoy. Also there are several places that are shaded to walk under and not every day but sometimes they have a water mist for the kids to walk under on hot days. There's a restaurant of some type there with a picnic area outside. I've never been inside the restaurant but I've eaten at the picnic area and it has umbrellas for shade. Read moreIt's always cool to feed giraffes, but you practically have to pay just to see them. $5 later and 3 lettuce leafs later, and you got to see them for maybe 5 minutes. If you ask if you can stand off to the side to look at them, you will be told no. The only other way to see them is off to the side, but there is so much weed/bush overgrowth your kids can't see over. It's not very handicap friendly. 1 feeding (3 leafs) $5 4 feedings...
