BEWARE. First off, I'm not one to complain, it is what it is. But one thing that sets me off is being promised one thing, and being deceived. The reason I'm having to leave a review here on Google is because I can't edit my review on AirBNB. We come to mounds multiple times a year to visit family, and decided to try this place out on a weekend. We arrived at 2 in the morning, and I even let the owner know of this. Well come 7:30 in the morning, they decide it's a good idea to construct forms for a concrete pad and pour said concrete pad right outside of our door, but like I said, I don't get upset, things happen. So later that day we see the owner and he apologized and said he would make it right on our next stay, because we come to mounds often. Then on our day of leaving, he assures us again that he will make it right. Great, everyone is happy. Well we go to book again, not even a week later, and remind the owner of his promise, and he acts like Airbnb won't allow discounts, and they control the price. Little does he know I have experience in listing for Airbnb, but again I let it go. So I ask him again if he figured it out and he says yes.... HE OFFERED $10 off for the inconvenience. Are you kidding me? Which i shared my concern of the low ball gesture and he basically told me too bad, sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. So, moral of the story is to be very careful doing business here. They don't really care about being a good host, or addressing any concerns. Mounds is a small town, and there are plenty of other Airbnbs to spend your money. That is what we will be doing from...

My husband was invited to visit a Lavender farm. I was planning on shopping in the big city of Mounds while he visited the farm. I do love, love, love live plants so my husband talked me into going to the farm. I am SO glad I did!! I would've missed out on one of the best visits ever!!
Upon arrival we met Suzanne and Skip-Two of the nicest, most genuine people I have had the pleasure of meeting.
Suzanne had some fresh baked lavender chocolate chip cookies-ummmm, wow & yum! Their gift shop was warm and cozy and had a good variety of Lavendar items; cream, lip balm, candles, t-shirts and several items you could use to cook with. I bought my daughter a lavender shirt, it's her current favorite color and then I couldn't resist pepper w/lavendar and also fresh honey. Suzanne also gave me a little baggie of fresh lavender for my daughter and I to try in our favorite dessert recipe.
After that, Skip drove us around the farm and they showed us their beautiful cabins, a really nice sized pond, their amazing view (you can physically see all the way to Leonard, Ok) and all their varieties of lavender plants.
It was neat to hear Skip light up about a new variety of lavender they were expecting to come in. Suzanne told us all about their summer festival (which we WILL be back for) and the told us about their vision to minister the word. We loved ever bit of our experience with them!
