I was a little hesitant when I saw the price. It's more expensive to go here than the NC Zoo. But I don't regret it and will gladly go again. Sadly we showed up late to our group so I didn't catch our guide's name, but he was amazing. The guided tour was great, he showed us the animals, told us a little bit about them, and he knows these animals because he works with them everyday, so he had some stories to share with us about the animals that gave us a little insight into their personalities. I thought it was great; my kids loved it. Great for any age! Highly recommend.

Went today with my daughter and the staff was amazing, kind, and well informed when it came to the knowledge of the animals on the farm. They went above and beyond to make us feel like we were family. Well maintained paths and animals are obviously well cared for. Worth the drive off the beaten path. Highly recommend for an experience outside of the zoo and animals were up close. We plan on going back for an encounter too with more family and friends. Great for families or a lunch date afternoon.

I was amazed when I first visited the farm. There are teeny fennec foxes. They only weigh about 2 pounds each. They chirp and giggle. The sloths and servals are beautiful. The zebras are cool. The big tortoises and retiles are prehistoric. We got to pet baby goats. Ther3 are kangaroos and monkees and peacock and even prettier birds. Personally, I'm kind of a sucker for mining for gems. They have like 16 horses, many rescue. Capybaras, black swans, and a zillion other creatures.

This was an amazing experience from start to finish.

My family and I did the full encounters tour and had a specific desire to interact with the Fennec Fox as it is my daughter's favorite animal. Skylar was our guide and she was kind, patient, and knowledgeable about the animals. We had a chance to feed and interact with almost every animal. The fox was a perfect experience and we spent so long there that I was afraid we were imposing, but Skylar was content to let us take as long as we liked and the fox would tolerate us. Allison, the owner, was also wonderful and answered my questions before arrival so we knew what to expect.

Overall, if you or you children like animals, this is a great experience and it might be temping to do a single encounter or just general admission, but pay the extra money and do the full encounter tour; you will be...
