For the history buff. Free museum with changing displays. To me it was very much out of the way you're going to have to work a little bit to get to this place . Not near anything else The museum is big on old handwritten letters and the interpretation of those and translation of those some of them are in Spanish and translated into English in the displays so if you like Republic era Texas you'll like this. I learned a lot. There's also some historic buildings in the throes of being repaired and reworked. Free....

Awesome library :)) Haven't had a problem yet. My son loves it. Wish they had more event type things for the children. Once a week book reading for them like where we used to live...
