Not near anything else The museum is big on old handwritten letters and the interpretation of those and translation of those some of them are in Spanish and translated into English in the displays so if you like Republic era Texas you'll like this. I learned a lot. There's also some historic buildings in the throes of being repaired and reworked. Free....
