State Game Lands Number 234 — Attraction in Limerick Township

Walked about two miles around dusk in August, 2024. Saw lots of deer, a few rabbits, and some woodpeckers. Lots of fields and not a lot of woods. Saw zero mushrooms. Overgrown trails lead down to the river but it’s nothing to write home about and watch out for stinging nettles. Nice place to walk, hunting is hard. You'll see an occasional squirrel, dove is what you'll see most of. Rabbit are not there like they used to be a couple years ago. Waterfowl hunting is hard on the river, geese always fly high or over the abandoned buildings. Always see fox . People like to walk their dogs and have no problem walking...

Place is FILLED with deer, they’re everywhere. But DO NOT waste your time. Last 2 years there’s an old guy with a dog named Mazey.
