Beware of car break-ins. I went today and when I got back to my car, someone had scratched and dented the door edge near the driver's door handle (already checked with a collision repair shop, it's about a $1,500 repair). There was a guy with a medium sized goldendoodle and he drove a bright blue truck (I've attached a photo of what I remember the truck looking like, it is not a photo of the actual truck). The overlooks were nice, but not worth my $500 insurance deductible.

Gem off the main path. Visited on a weekday afternoon and nobody else was there. The valley overlook has a picnic table and the city overlook has benches. Trails were cleared, and it was a pleasant walk in the woods to and between the overlooks.

This would have been perfect overlook point if the view was not blocked by trees. 2 min walk from parking and there is another point after the first one. Might look even better in fall

Beautiful view, but be careful of the people in the parking lot. I was coming out of the trail leave, and a man got out of his black pickup and started to walk toward me. He asked how I was doing and got pretty close. I then jogged to my car and quickly locked the doors. After I was in my car he turned around and went back to his car. Very sketchy but I have been coming for years and that is the only bad thing that has...
