Lincoln Park Community Lake — Attraction in Lincoln Park

My family and I drove one hour to come here. We were told that we can’t go in because we don’t live there. I even offered to pay to get in since my kids were so anxious from being in the car and just wanted to swim. We were told we had to leave and cannot stay there even though the beach was nearly empty with maybe 5 swimmers total. My kids and family were very disappointed and I’ll never visit there again nor recommend for anyone to go. Was a total waste of time, gas money and tolls to go. Time I can...

Very disappointed with this place. Today I went with my 12 year old to play with his small rc boat and the lady in charge was very nasty to us because we are not members of the lake. We were just using a small area that many people use to fish. I don't understand why she is this way, I guess we have to use another lake since Lincoln Park doesn't allow residents to use this lake even for a kind to use a toy...

Its nice and small. Residents only.

Not too thrilled about them collecting a full fee for couple hour visit and the paperwork taking like 20 minutes.. otherwise its not bad. The staff ive interacted with at window were very friendly and nice.

They do absolutely need to do something about the mass amounts of giant hornet looking things there. I can never fill out paperwork comfortably because i am afraid...
