As a place to stop for a night or two its really nice. Concrete level campsites with full hook ups for sites 1 - 6. The park is well maintained and includes a golf course, frisbee golf, volley ball, play ground, walking path and a lake where you can fish. They also have a strong WIFI which I clocked at 30+Mb, it not secured. Verizon had 3 bars. All for $15 per night, pay in the club house.

Beautiful spot nice water with fish and ducks easy location volleyball lots of space looks like rv hookups very well maintained clean spacious nice tree cover benches had no idea this place existed just south of the golf course certainly was not overcrowded when I was there which is surprising considering not a lot of places like this around Ulysses

This small campground has 9 slots with electric and water. Five have sewer. The main business is the Ulysses, Ks 18 hole golf course. There is a picnic area, playground, and large frisbee golf course. The pond has a sidewalk. Two volleyball sand lots are open. Everything is beautifully maintained. Rv slot for one night, $15.

We stopped here on or way to Colorado on a Friday afternoon. I guess we were lucky to get a spot. There were 3 spots left and we grabbed one. Be advised this place from what I understand, is filled all the time in the summer months. If you want a spot, get there early. We were lucky to get a space being that there are no reservations. First come-first serve. The place is large to walk your dogs and there is a pretty lake. Noise level was low, too. No dump station, but there is a free one in town. Just google dump station, Ulysses, KS. It'll take you right to it. Also, if you are traveling West, get gas in Ulysses. We did fill up and were surprised there were no gas stations for the next 100 miles or so going...

The pavilions can be reserved and 2 weeks advance notice is requested so they can clean up the area and they post notices that lets people know you have the area reserved. They do charge a fee but if the area is clean they refund most of the fee. We have had our company picnic here, family gatherings, class reunions and church get togethers here. It's a great place for adults with small children and everyone...

Although the park and lake are really nice, it was one of the worst experiences I've had as a place to rest on a trip. With only 9 camp spots, cars constantly circled and sped through the camp loop like it was a racetrack. Complete disrespect for the campers. Often the same car would return, park and keep their car idling. Other trucks would race around the loop at high speeds. Thanks...
