The pond is beautiful and there's a rock out- cropping above it. It's fun to climb up on top of it on the right hand side and walk around on top of it and see The view. If it's not smoggy you can see the buttes, which is the world's smallest mountain range. The sun sets from here are amazing. this time we went across the top, to the left down to this little creek and back around so we were under the large outcropping. It was a gorgeous walk as it's very green from the rain right now. There just happened to be a bobcat or a lynx overlooking the ridge, very beautiful!

It's a great place to take a walk that's not too long and not too short, but just right. Not too busy, not too vacant. I personally enjoy seeing people outside enjoying the weather. The surroundings are beautiful throughout the year, and especially in spring when the first Tufts of new grass start poking up and the trees start blossoming. There are some really neat varieties of plants along the trails, including blackberry bushes and lavender. I take regular walks on these trails.

Really enjoyed our walk about the Coyote Park area! Besides the paved walkways, there are a lot of dirt trails through the hills and oak forest and rocks. Abundant quail and other wildlife were around for our late afternoon stroll. Several dirt bike riders went by, and there's a pleasant year-round creek and pond. Some good views of the surrounding city homes, too. Very nice!

I appreciate that there are wildlife signs up, warning people not to tread where there may be snakes, which comes with the territory. There was a variety of animals to be seen, you just have to look for them. The park itself is moderately shaded, which is nice when it's super hot outside. The trail was longer than a young child might like to travel on foot, but using a scooter or bike would make the journey more fun for sure. There are also no "big...
