Foskett Regional Park — Attraction in Lincoln

I was on the Softball fields for 3 days. Infield dirt was like sand in most areas and uneven. Games were played from 8am in the morning to 9:30pm at night all 3 days. Maintenance only water and hand raked the pitchers area. Spent no time on the batter's box. Lined the field after every third game I would say. Fields did not get watered and dragged after every 2 games in a row. Which is what needs to happen in big Ring Softball Tournaments likes this. 39-60 year old guys are out there laying it all out on the line. Trying to field grounders moving 90mph plus in 100° weather. There were at least three or four bad hops a game. The Park looked decent I have no complaints. It has some type of water fall/ play area for kids to play in, which is always a plus. Lots of room and good amount of shaded tree areas (around the fields) to sit under. There is plenty of parking. Bathrooms are fairly clean and stocked (again at the fields) with toilet tissue, toilet guards Etc... I only seen two young men prepping the fields and responsible for emptying garbage cans. In the parking lot, Inside and outside the ball fields. That's not enough staff for 60 plus softball teams and fans. The 3 stars is mostly because of the low maintenance at the softball fields during...

This is my new FAV place! Clean, well organized, you can see the various dishes. Coming in the door its open, full of light and makes you feel at home. The brisket melts in your mouth. The salmon is perfection. It is my goal to try everything on their awesome menu. After ordering you head outside to pick a table on the umbrella covered patio. Attended a girls softball tournament over 3 days. Nice facility, 4 fields, restrooms and snackbar. However, when there is an event like this they really should make arrangements for emptying and additional garbage cans, emptying trash and replenishment of paper products and cleaning in the restrooms. Things ran out and trash was overflowing! Not sure who is responsible for the snackbar but someone missed out big time as they closed long before the crowds left, stopped grilling or ran out of hotdogs,...
